We have covered 3318 miles to arrive at Changi Airport. Singapore Airlines, flight SQ236, offered a comfortable & accommodating service. It was a flying restaurant! The hospitality was excellent & the offer of food & beverages was frequent. Lunch was served with an authentic garden salad!
Seat 40K came with an in-seat monitor & a remote control labelled hers! Today I met Margaret Roberts Thatcher, 'The Iron Lady'. A formidable woman who smashed the class & gender barriers to be heard by her male counterparts in order to get the job done as British Prime Minister between 1979 & 1990. Done well or otherwise depends on one's political point of view. It was a believable portrayal by Meryl Streep. 'I Wish You Were Here' was a timely & fitting title. A sad but compelling story about family, friendship, deceit, lies & loss.
Flying speed was 551 mph. I walked for a total of ten minutes. Does this mean I walked 91.8 miles?
