This morning we drove to Blarney Castle. We climbed the one hundred steps to kiss the Blarney Stone. Accordingly, we now have the gift of eloquence bestowed upon us. That should make for some interesting conversations!
This afternoon we dismissed the idea of engaging the red bus for a guided tour of Cork. Conditions were such that little would have been seen through the fogged-up windows of the bus. Instead, we spent time in the city, seeking refuge in the shopping malls & coffee shops, and practising our eloquence! Hot chocolate warmed both the heart & the soul.
We also took time to plan tomorrow's visit to the Dingle Peninsula. Given we are heading north to County Clare on Saturday, & in order to avoid retracing tomorrow's travels, we have decided to leave Cork a day early. We have found accommodation at Cill Bhraec B&B in Dingle.
